These terms govern your use of the Tangibles companion site (tangibles-book.com) and its interactive tools, operated by TheRoad. By using the site or its tools, you agree to the terms below. The tools are designed to be educational and illustrative — they give a feel for the process, not a fool-proof or definitive output.
The tools and content on this site are provided for general informational and educational purposes. The frameworks, scores, financial models, and generated requirements reflect the author's professional opinion, are illustrative rather than definitive, and are not legal, financial, engineering, or investment advice. Tool output is a starting point for your own analysis, not a substitute for professional assessment. References to laws, regulations, and standards reflect the author's understanding at the time of writing and are subject to change. This site links to third-party websites and resources. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.
For most tools, the answers and selections you enter are processed in your browser and saved locally on your device (in your browser's storage) so your progress persists between visits; that data is not transmitted to or stored on our servers, and reports you export are generated in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. Some tools and features require sending data to our servers to work — for example, signing up, signing or submitting a case study, or any feature that saves or shares content. In those cases the information you submit is transmitted to and processed by our backend (Supabase) on our behalf. If you choose to enter an email address to unlock an export, that email is used to create or access an account and is handled under our Privacy Policy; your tool answers are not sent with it. We use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) to understand how the tools are used and improve them; Clarity masks text you type into forms.
